My Vinyl Garden Grows
My uncle just gave me a box of his old ones (most of which were bacon-rand-egg-y beyond repair). Including a few of his orphans I was able to rsalvage, as well as the odds and ends of my own, here's my current, rinky-rdink, ridiculously scattered list of vinyl albums. |
| 1 | | Peter Frampton Frampton Comes Alive!
Salvaged. |
| 2 | | Journey Escape
Never too big into Journey, but figured I'd hold onto this one. |
| 3 | | Elton John Don't Shoot Me I'm Only the Piano Player
It's not quite Madman Across the Water, Honky Chateau, or Goodbye Yellow Brick
Road, sure, but it's damn respectable. |
| 4 | | Dan Fogelberg The Innocent Age
Because why not? |
| 5 | | Jethro Tull Thick as a Brick
The design of this set is fantastic. |
| 6 | | Thursday/Envy Thursday/Envy
The first vinyl I actually bought myself--mainly, I'll admit, because it was the only
way to get the CD. Still, not a bad entry point by any means. |
| 7 | | Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky Symphony #6: Pathetique
Found this in an antique store in Paris. Putting it that way, I almost make myself
sound slightly cultured. Almost. |
| 8 | | Ghastly City Sleep Moondrifts
Another case where vinyl was the only physical version available. And so begins
my descent... |
| 9 | | State Faults Desolate Peaks
Ditto. |
| 10 | | Barrow Being Without
You got it. |
| 11 | | mewithoutYou Ten Stories
Actually had the CD and ended up buying the deluxe vinyl set anyway. Totally
worth it. |
| 12 | | Red Apollo Marche Fun?bre
Ordered, but have yet to receive. |
| 13 | | Departures When Losing Everything Is Everything You Wanted
Same-sies. |
