GnarlyShillelagh 01.02.13	yeah i feel like maybe you didn't listen to the seer enough times for you to find it really good. took a whie to grow on me the way it did. Also, 88 is really good, and I don't even like electronic music that much. Great list.

Polyethylene 01.02.13	The Seer and Centipede Hz both took about six months to digest each, so that's all I've heard this year (okay that's not true but they've been given a loooot of attention)

treeqt. 01.02.13	78% of Havey's list was 3.5 or below. It may not be a very sputnik way of thinking but 3.5 is still a pretty good rating, a great one I'd like to say.
Deviant. 01.02.13	Oh no I totally agree (in fact I've had several conversations on this site where I've talked about albums rated at 3.5 or even a 3 that have still been quite good and should be seen as such). I just kinda wonder, with 100 albums on this list, were the 3.5's really worth adding? Again I'm not having a go, I just find it odd personally, to throw those up as the "finest of 2012"
taylormemer 01.02.13	It's just a technicality: the user is basically saying "here are my top 100 albums for 2012." The term "finest" is wrongly applied, perhaps, but who cares.

treeqt. 01.02.13	I can definitely see where you're coming from. Many of those 3.5's don't get enough attention (or any at all) on here though, so I thought it wouldn't hurt to put them on my list. That and the fact that I listened to quite some 2012 releases (roughly 400) and those really did stand out as the 'finest' and I wouldn't want anyone to think that they aren't.

clercqie 01.02.13	I personally didn't include 3.5's in my list, but that's just because I couldn't be bothered. Either way, I still regularly listen to and enjoy those albums.
