evilford 12.26.12	lol agreed wolf, ultimately NPH is the only reason I've continued watching it at all. haven't kept up with the last couple of seasons, it's really been going downhill I think, as most shows do at this point in their run. but yeah, Barney has by far been the most entertaining part of the show. all of the other characters are pretty boring. Ted sucks.
Wolfhorde 12.26.12	same thing here, the main reason I actually got enticed and kept watching was basically him, the whole "playbook" thing was grand. probably the best thing that happened in the last couple of seasons. but I agree, it's definitely gone downhill especially since Barney is trying to settle down, which is just "meh". also, Ted is fucking annoying.

evilford 12.26.12	the crazy ways he tries to pick women up are great. I love when he tries to pick up a chick using baby talk. great example of how funny he can be. also, the best episode by far out of the last 3 or 4 seasons, that I've seen at least, was the "perfect week" episode. It makes his character more interesting I guess that he's trying to change his ways a little bit, but I don't think they know what to do with any of the characters when Barney isn't trying to pick up someone different every night. they've relied on that too much, which has been great at points, but it just seems like they've run out of ideas now. plus the whole premise of the show is awful. 8 seasons of him telling this story to his kids. "who's the mom? who's the mom?" got old prob 6 seasons ago.
