I've been splurging. Not really. Most CD's have are under 10 bucks on
Amazon, and the shipping right now is really cheap, so I've been picking

Olly Oxen Free
I remember finding this album 4 years ago. It's full of nostalgia for me. This was my
Linkin Park, NIN, or The Killers during my freshman/sophomore years in high school. I
still love it. The album deserves more love. It was 99 cents on Amazon, so I finally

Colour Revolt
This was my staple during Sophomore year. It still is one of my all-time favorites.
Such raw grit mixed with indie/alternative. Their best album in my opinion. Was 2

Garden Window
This album is just so pleasing to the ears. I'm excited to see what their next

For Posterity
I wanted to get 2012's 'Namesake' but they're not printing physical copies... yet. So,
I bought this. One of my favorite albums of 2010. It has grown on me so much.
Another band that deserves more recognition on this site- especially their debut

Wrecking Ball
Normally, I probably wouldn't have picked this up. I love this album, but not quite
enough to order it. However, it was a dollar at my local thrift store. So, I bought it.
It's grown on me quite a lot, a good one for summer. Wrecking Ball is such a great

Not my favorite, but it was at the thrift store too. So, I bought it. I really loved their

12.23.12 | I'm probably gonna be picking up Giant Squid's stuff next, or maybe some Agalloch. I wanted to buy Sorne's debut, but he's not selling physicals anymore. I was going to buy Sun City Girls' "Torch of the Mystics" but it was freaking 140 bucks for a CD on Amazon, and 600 bucks for a vinyl. So, no go on that one.
Someday I'll get my hands on a Have a Nice Life copy too...
Anyway, I've been working on getting more stuff lately. |
