omnipanzer 12.17.12	Thanks Inveigh Considering how much you love your brews I think you'll love it although it really is an acquired taste. I think you'll appreciate it's complexity and the fact that they pulled it off.
omnipanzer 12.17.12	"the show really picked up over the last few eps" I think they needed to shed some of that dead weight i.e. some of the heavy hitters like Ed Helms who's character arch is clearly done. I think they should move Jim and Pam on to a spinoff. The new kids give me hope that this might be a vehicle for new talent supported by a talented cast of character actors.

Sanders 12.18.12	I think it was the old writers coming back that made the biggest difference. Case in point, I already care way much more about Erin and Pete getting together than I ever did about Erin and Andy. They've also made Nellie almost likeable, and Dwight is back to being awesome. "I'm not in your panties, I don't go vigilantes"
omnipanzer 12.18.12	I have no knowledge about what is going on behind the scenes with the writers and such. I didn't even know this was the last season. I actually liked the Robert California character (people used to say I looked like James Spader) but between the time he left and up until Andy left was horrible. It's been great since Andy was written out. They need to stop dragging out the Andy & Erin thing. They should have just broken it off when he left on the boat. It's been obvious where that plot line was going for a long time now.
Sanders 12.18.12	My bad, don't think it's actually the writers as such, it's the main showrunner (Greg Daniels) who's come back full time after not being involved much for the past few series. He's said because it's the last season, all the questions will be answered, such as who is the behind the documentary, and why they have been filming it for so long, as well as the reveal of the Scranton Strangler (according to wiki)

omnipanzer 12.18.12	For the last few seasons I've just had it in my Hulu queue and watched it as a second tier show. That's the only reason I've kept up with it. When the top tier is empty I move on to it and "Parks and Rec" (it's gone down hill a bit but still solid) and the dozen British series I watch.
Sanders 12.18.12	Yeah, I kind of kept watching it out of habit, and I'm just happy it's improving again. What British shows do you watch? (As a Brit, I'm intrigued what's popular elsewhere)
omnipanzer 12.18.12	Current shows I watch would be: Pramface freshmeat misfits Dr. Who then there is a whole list of older shows I like to watch every now and again: MI6 Blood in the wire and some classics: The Young Ones Monty Python the typical stuff.
Sanders 12.18.12	I'd recommend Peep Show, Green Wing and The Thick of It, they're all class British comedies
