Altmer 12.03.07	PT aren't metal. Major props for Nightwish, amazing band. If you want good metal, please check out Iced Earth (Barlow era), Morbid Angel, Death, Emperor, Iron Maiden, Queensryche, Blind Guardian, Kamelot, Black Sabbath, Candlemass, My Dying Bride, Dark Tranquillity, Pain of Salvation, Dream Theater, Sonata Arctica and more.
Slaytan 12.03.07	Kudos for 1,4,6,12,13,15, and 16. You should check out the bands Altmer listed, they're worth a listen.
BallsToTheWall 12.03.07	Too much opeth but major props on 8 and 9 Nightwish. 12 and 13 are great. 14 no.
Dethtrasher 12.03.07	Agreed with Balls, too much Opeth. But the list has some quality stuff though.
ninjuice 12.03.07	Definitely try some Kamelot, they sound fairly similar to Nightwish I'd say. Also try Dark Tranquillity and In Flames, two of the best metal bands period.

botb 12.04.07	These are all great bands and you should check out Kamelot like ninjuice said. Probably my favorite vocalist of all time and its very similar music to Nightwish. And PT is awesome.

Jim 12.04.07	well 17 isn't metal, but a pretty decent rock album. i wouldn't imagine opeth to be a good band to start accessing metal with. the death vocals would've freaked me out before getting into some tamer shit first, like nu-metal or some other lame genre. still, albums i like here are 1, 8 and 16.
