12.05.12 | Sweet cheers I will definetly check all these out |
demigod!
12.05.12 | spiritualized [2] not really that psychadelic but rules |
Polyethylene
12.05.12 | If "psychedelic" extends to woolly folk stuff what has a beard, then Devendra Banhart's Rejoicing In The Hands and Animal Collective's Sung Tongs rule too |
demigod!
12.05.12 | i cant get into sung tongs at all, idk why. i really enjoy MPP, Feels and Water Curses but Sung Tongs is just too spazzy and freakyfolky |
Sirob
12.05.12 | yeah sorry dont know much about psychedelic at all |

chupacabraisreal
12.05.12 | The Spyrals
Black Angels
The Assemble Head In Sunburst Sound
I dunno, psychedelic is a very bland genre in my opinion. |
Polyethylene
12.05.12 | Yeah, Sung Tongs isn't their best in my opinion, it's just good psychedelia for sure.
Overall though I think Feels, Merriweather and SJ are all better, maybe even their new one too. |
demigod!
12.05.12 | still havent checked out strawberry jam |
Polyethylene
12.05.12 | Campfire Songs by Animal Collective too, for that real sitting-round-a-fire-looking-at-stars-omg-universe-is-so-big kinda thing |
Polyethylene
12.05.12 | Strawberry Jam is fantastic, it's their tightest and probably their most emotional. However I still prefer Feels and Merriweather for their amazing sonic aspects and more chilled atmosphere, SJ is quite hyperactive in comparison.
I think you'll like it, check out "Unsolved Mysteries", "Winter Wonder Land" and "Derek" on Youtube.
Dude we gotta stop turning into an AnCo discussion now |
Polyethylene
12.05.12 | Also psychedelic stuff that is heavy such as Electric Wizard, Melvins and Kyuss is great. Check out Dopethrone, Lysol and Welcome To Sky Valley respectively if you wanna |
demigod!
12.05.12 | anco is so sweet though
if i had to pick a fav album though i'd have to be generic and go with mpp |
Polyethylene
12.05.12 | It'd be a toss up between that and Feels, they're generally considered the best I agree but with good damn reason. It'd depend on mood fo sho |
Polyethylene
12.05.12 | I think it'd be Feels |
punkomania19
