12.04.12 | dont get a spider, line 6 amps are horrible compared to a nice marshall or mesa cab, i have line 6 gear, and its cool to have all the sounds right there, but it just doesnt sound as good as getting a nice tube and a some good pedals to go along with it |
ChuckyTruant
12.04.12 | lol i already have a line6 pracctice amp so yeah wsnt planning on it lol |
wacknizzle
12.04.12 | Vox Custom AC15C1 or an Orange Tiny Terror(which I've definitely told you before). The Orange is $899 and I know you think there isn't many controls but man every setting sounds amazing from sparkling cleans to the perfect metal tone. Some people say some digital amps sound just as good.
War From A Harlots Mouth used PodFarm to record Voyeur so you might wanna consider that since it's alot cheaper and sounds pretty legit if you like the tone they got on that album. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/pro-audio/line-6-pod-studio-ux2-with-pod-farm |
Nikkolae
12.04.12 | i really want a Orange or Emperor cab with a marshal amp |
wacknizzle
12.04.12 | No Nikkolae you don't wanna a Marshall head, they're over priced anyway. Mesa Mode Four, Peavey 6505, Engel Powerball, Blackstar HT100, and Orange Rockerverb/Thunderverbs are better. |
Nikkolae
12.04.12 | yes but its pretty hard to come by a mesa/blackstar/pretty-much-everything-else-other-than-marshall
retailer here anyways, orange is terribly overpriced and barely got any retailers here too, gots to
work with what i gots to work with :[ |

12.04.12 | Was War From A Harlots Mouth seriously recorded using Pod Farm? That sounds pretty fucking awesome for being some digital interface. |

12.04.12 | Guys none of these recs are micro amps.
That Blackstar should be good enough. The Roland Cubes are pretty sweet too surprisingly. |

12.04.12 | Also Orange has a Micro Terror which is decent. |
