Insurrection: What Do You Do While Listening To Music?

Insurrection 12.02.12	i usually listen while i browse sputnik/do homework but every once in a while i'll get blazed, lay in bed, close my eyes and let the music take over.

Polyethylene 12.02.12	I'm somebody who really likes to listen to music and let my mind wander/visualise it, so generally nothing. I find if I do something else, such as read or write or game, I don't enjoy the music as much. It fades into the background. I prefer to sit there and simply soak it in, or go for a walk, or something else active that doesn't require very much attention (cleaning, gardening, exercising)

demigod! 12.02.12	@anal yeah i know exactly the feeling, I don't drive but every time I've gotten in a car with good music playing it felt just wonderful. I get disappointed when it's time to get out lol.

I can get a little restless if the music is really ambient, like I listened to my vinyl copy of Valtari today and found myself fidgeting a bit. I really think though that music is best without distraction, otherwise it's battling for your attention with whatever else you are doing
