| Top Ten Concerts
title | | 1 | | Pixies Doolittle
Opened with a video of Un Chied Delousia (don't know if spelt right, i ain't french) kicked right into Debaser and played all of Doolittle, followed by a few b-sides and finally Bone Machine, Gigantic, and Where is my Mind. Ended fading out with a fog machine filling up the whole stadium. Religious experience. | | 2 | | Converge Jane Doe
ruled hard, my fav band so I was pumped for this one. Opened with Jane Doe, went into Dark Horse and I don't remember the rest, but it was a kickass set. Plus I met Jacob at the merch table - we had a nice discussion on Canadian currency exchange and why he can't accept looneys and toonies | | 3 | | Rush Moving Pictures
Saw 'em during Time Machine tour at Lebreton Flats for Ottawa bluesfest. Crowed was massive, entire field was filled to the brim. Played Moving Pictures in it's entirety, and tons of other great songs. I think it lasted for around two and a half hours. Great show. | | 4 | | Weezer The Blue Album
Wasn't expecting much from this one, but it was an honestly amazing show. Played nearly every track of Blue, a few off Pinkerton (shocker!) and a bunch from other albums. Really fun show. | | 5 | | Foo Fighters The Colour and the shape
Dave is one hell of a frontman. Also, Against Me! is loud as fuck live. | | 6 | | The Flaming Lips The Soft Bulletin
Saw them before I became a fan, and still had an amazing time. The lazers, lights, Wayne coming out of a giant vagina and rolling on the crowd in a giant latex ball. Also, weed everywhere. | | 7 | | Metallica Master of Puppets
Metallica was the band that pretty much got me into music, so obviously I was pumped for this one. Played tons of classics, covered Angelfuck and Last Caress, and generally rocked the house. Literally - the foundations of the venue were shaking. | | 8 | | Green Day Dookie
When they weren't playing new shit, they ruled - Billy Joe has a great stage presence, even invited a kid up on stage to play Welcome to Paradise with the. Plus, they devoted a solid 45 minutes to old material, which was a real treat. | | 9 | | Rush Snakes & Arrows
Snakes & Arrows tour. They had chickens roasting on the stage, and chefs coming in throughout the show to turn it over/marinate it. Also, the dragon breathed fire on me. Dope. | | 10 | | Mastodon The Hunter
Mastodon rawks. | |
demigod!
11.13.12 | Nigger. | demigod!
11.13.12 | that feel when no one cares about your list | bungy
11.13.12 | I read your whole list. I like how your weezer description basically says that they played songs off their albums
Jealous about 1. Weezer are fun live. Did they play El Scorcho? I would pay lots of money to see a two hour Green Day set as long as I got to pick the set list. Foo and the Lips totally rule live. Last time I saw Against Me! My ears rang for a week yeah so worth it | UnnamedOcean
11.13.12 | I like your list but I like your profile picture more | Cormano
11.13.12 | nigger (2) | MikeC26
11.13.12 | mastodon is one of the worst live bands i've ever seen, and i've seen them 3 times! | ProfessorVeerappan

11.13.12 | I don't like Mastodon but the rest sound pretty awesome to me. | demigod!
11.14.12 | Mastodon were kinda boring, but I haven't been to many concerts and they were certainly better than Bon Jovi and Aerosmith.
And yeah Bungy they played El Scorcho. it was pretty amazing | Chortles
11.14.12 | damn i'm pretty jelly, you went to some kickin concerts | demigod!
11.14.12 | i was gonna see Radiohead in Toronto, but couldn't get da fundz. Glad I didn't, because the stage collapsed. | Chortles
11.14.12 | didn't get any tickets for earlier this year, pretty pissed, i'd die to see them live | peaks40
11.14.12 | saw radiohead the night before that happened, seen Rush this year and metallica in 09. |
