Yes. They have a fairly original style. They're spaced out ska nowadays, but they were reggae/metal type early on. |

Yeah. Definitely an acquired taste, but it was a sign of the times when their earlier (especially 311) music was released. They did it tastefully IMO, but if you're disinclined to like a hybrid or rap/rock then their early stuff won't be of much interest. However, starting around Transistor/Soundsystem they are more accessible overall. |

11.07.12 | Agreed. They lost their edge toward the end of the 90's. I saw them twice at Redrocks here in Colorado between 04-06, and they kicked ass both times. They also embraced a lot of their early music during the shows, so that's why. Amber was the only song that the crowd actually knew. Kinda sad... |
