I also have a mild case of social anxiety and feel extremely self-conscious in public and when making small talk with people I don't know well. I manage to hide it very well by forcing myself to be outgoing. If you are warm and friendly with people they tend to respond in the same way. I am gradually getting over it. Sitting at home and deliberately avoiding these situations only makes things worse. |

Yeah man for sure. A lot of the people that I genuinely love talking to though still see me as an introvert, but I also just moved a couple months ago for school so hopefully my real personality will come out at some point haha |

Sounds gay but it's true and everyone knows it. I've noticed a higher backlash rate from people with more insecurities/bigger egos. |
