10.06.12 | Thanks in advance! |
Chortles
10.06.12 | i've always used torrents too |
Trebor.
10.06.12 | mediafire duh |
xVision
10.06.12 | yeah but Trebor, 90% of the time I try using a MediaFire, they give me that stupid fucking message about the file being deleted or some shit. |
Rikardur
10.06.12 | Filesharing has gotten pretty gay recently.
It's mostly torrenting nowadays for me, unless the piratebay or wherever doesn't have what I'm looking for. |
Hyperion1001
10.06.12 | if you cant find albums on filesharing sites then its possible you have a very advanced case of serious brain damage and should probably see a doctor very soon |
YoYoMancuso
10.06.12 | i use filestube which usually gives you non-deleted, perfectly good mediafire links |
Trebor.
10.06.12 | There are still plenty of blogspots that pop up with the help of google as well |
bach
10.06.12 | I purchase physical copies. It's a sentiment thing. |
Trebor.
10.06.12 | Well not all of us have tens of thousands of dollars
|
sniper
10.06.12 | filestube is cool, you can see the size of the file before you even get to the download page so you don't have to waste a lot of clicks just to find out the files are all compressed to 128 kbps. if you can't find stuff for direct download you can always try to torrent but i find 95% of stuff using google and/or filestube. and it would be 100% if i wasn't so picky about bitrates. |
NeoSpaz
10.06.12 | Filestube is first for me, then I'll look at some blogs. Then I'll go to torrents. I avoid rapidshare like the plague, and try not to use torrents. To easy to be tracked. |
taxidermist
10.06.12 | There's nothing wrong with torrents. It's all a matter of preference. |
jayfatha
10.06.12 | Filetram seems to give me more working links than Filestube does but yea there's usually a mediafire link I can use right up front. Torrenting works pretty well sometimes tho |
bach
10.06.12 | I don't either Trebor. I just have a knack for collecting. |
Rikardur
10.06.12 | For those criticizing those who criticize filesharing, you can't tell me that there isn't a larger influx of removed files and all that shit... |
bach
10.06.12 | It's not like I'm sneering down on someone because they use torrents. I could honestly give damn. |
engleprunt
10.06.12 | newalbumreleases.com links to rapidgator and uploaded which are good(ish) |
xVision
10.06.12 | alright thanks guys, what about the digs? haha went pretty unnoticed :P |
digimental101
10.06.12 | Well, 5 is amazing, no doubt about that. I've been wanting to hear 1 and 4 for quite a while now. |
Buzzkillr
10.06.12 | downloading flac torrents from what.cd is where it's at, that and private hq blogspots. |
mindleviticus
10.06.12 | torrenting music is the easiest and most non threatening thing ever. |
Dunpeal
10.06.12 | torrents, for the most part, are only good for new releases and/or mega popular bands
i'ld love to get on a private blogspot. never needed to b4 but shit is getting vapid out there in regards to older stuff |
mindleviticus
10.06.12 | ^ Exactly what Dunpeal said, if you torrent a new album or popular album, chances are you're going to be able to listen to it a lot faster then if you download a zip or rar of it, but if it's of a band that barely gets any recognition and has 1 torrent for with only 1 seeder it'll take a long time to get and you would be better off just finding a rar of it |
XingKing
10.06.12 | Band name - Album name - blogspot
If that fails, I use filestube. Torrenting is for programs, games, movies, etc.. Anything large. Albums are so small that I can download them off Mediafire in less than 30 seconds whereas no one listens or ups the bands I like, so torrenting them takes an absolute lifetime. |
Spec
10.06.12 | Torrents are slow. |
ABjordanMM
10.08.12 | yeah blogspot and torrents work good for me. |
MMX
10.08.12 | I avoid rapidshare like the plague [2]
I've always thought rapidshare would be great if I payed for an account, but fuck who wants to pay for that |
XingKing
10.08.12 | Why would you ever pay for rapidshit when there are always alternatives? |
JackSparrow
10.08.12 | Torrenting is pretty secure, use pirate bay and read the comments to see whats good and what isnt. It's only slow if you have a terrible internet connection, things usually download for me at 3.0 mbps and i've seen it get up to 6.0 before. If you can't find a torrent then search for blogspots. Never give up, everything is on the internet |
klap
10.08.12 | private torrent sites have 1 mb plus speeds and plenty of obscure shit |
Dunpeal
10.08.12 | yeah, I'd love to get in a private site. Have a a lot of stuff and willing to contribute to a community. However, some spots are
super anal about how their shit gets ripped and only offer keys if your audiophile knowledge is Jedi-like |
ksoflas
12.10.12 | Google "torrentz" and download for free whatever you like. |
anarchistfish
12.10.12 | they can be tracked, that's the only bad thing about them. apart from the fact that you can't download them if there's no one in the swarm,
otherwise they're better cos you can pause the downloads and they don't fail like direct downloads often do. and they're usually faster, I find.
still, I prefer direct downloads first and foremost. |
