Dream Setlist - Local H
I saw Devin Townsend and Local H separately in the past 2 weeks and had a great time at both shows. But after each concert, I went home thinking more about setlists than usual. Devin's song choice is always interesting because his back catalogue is so extensive and varied. I never know what I'm going to hear but always am pleasantly surprised by a few songs each time I see him. It sometimes seems as if his sets are scattered and lacking a bit of flow (even though I'm sure he definitely takes flow into account when creating the night's setlist). Local H on the other hand seem to have a great flow to their sets but sometimes don't play certain songs that I'd expect or would like to hear. That being said, below is what I'd call a dream setlist for them with songs listed in order. I tried to take into account their entire discography, greatest hits, fan favorites, personal favorites and length of a typical headliner's set while maintaining a strong emphasis on flow. The encore would start with slot 19, Manifest Destiny (Part 2). I had to leave out a few favorites (Creature Comforted, Bryn-Mawr Stomp, Cool Magnet, Feed, Cooler Heads, Half-Life) but I think this would make for an awesome set. Let me know what all you other H fans think. |
