09.20.12 | I hate earbuds, they never stay in my ears and hurt my eardrums. Also, not to get lame here, but some studies have shown that earbuds will kill your hearing a LOT quicker than any other soundsource (headphones) that don't actually go inside your ear. Whether you buy into that is up to you, but it makes sense to me.
I have some good Sony headphones that clip onto my ears, they look kind of dumb but the sound is much better than earbuds. |
ChuckyTruant
09.20.12 | Yeah well Dev I'm getting earbuds to use while I'm not at home. |
MMX
09.20.12 | I've got these $80 pair of Sony earbuds that have lasted me for the last year & 1/2 and they still

good luck with your shit quality sound.
I'd willingly pay £100 every 8/9 months or so to have a really good pair. even though it isn't ideal. my current pair I've had about 2 months because my previous pair broke just within the 6 month warranty. trying to keep them protected but it pisses me the fuck off when I treat mine so carefully and they break and other people treat theirs like shit and they last 2 years. |

That's what I used to find myself a pair of earphones and I found it really useful. Cut it down to about 3 different models before settling on the JVC HA-FXT90, which had only just been recently released. Apart from the first pair breaking after 6 months, they're brilliant. They've got a lovely thick sound for heavy stuff but they handle softer stuff with brilliant atmosphere and clarity too. And although they're not specifically made to be sound isolating, they're still not bad at it. |
anarchistfish
09.20.12 | They're meant to be well built too. The cable is thick and the phones feel solid |
ChuckyTruant
09.20.12 | Awesome. Thanks guys |
