09.11.12 | 4.5 or 9/10 (I prefer to rate things out of 10) albums are fantastic, pretty much some of the greatest albums ever. I've only rated two albums as 5 (10/10) because they are albums which I believe are literally perfect. |

09.11.12 | I tend to judge an album by how many F#'s are played and for how long. I take this number (or, the 'F average') and multiply it by how much green there is on the album cover and divide by 2 ('The Green Mean').
Or, I read reviews and assume they're all right and I conform my taste accordingly |

09.11.12 | A 4.5 is near-perfect, because some dull moments may hold it back (e.g latest letlive and A Lot Like Birds). A classic has a flawless execution, and never feels forced - the perfect example would be Jane Doe, by Converge.
Btw, Burnt Offerings is definitely a classic. |
