| Top Albums Of 1976 |
| 10 | | Alice Coltrane Eternity |
| 9 | | Genesis A Trick of the Tail |
| 8 | | Return to Forever Romantic Warrior
Chick Corea is kind of fruity, and so is his band Return to Forever, but I dig this album. |
| 7 | | Rush 2112
This is a one song album. Sure, A Passage to Bangkok isn't too bad, and a couple other songs are decent, but lets face it, the album is all about the one song. And a fantastic song it is. |
| 6 | | Camel Moonmadness
Another Camel album I really enjoy. I haven't listened to some of this Prog shit in years, I must revisit some of it. |
| 5 | | Weather Report Black Market
One day I have to get more stuff by Weather Report because I think their stuff absolutely slays. Fantastic jazz fusion. |
| 4 | | Jaco Pastorius Jaco Pastorius
I think this might be my favourite of his albums. As a bass player (at one time), Pastorius' stuff influenced me a lot and I maintain he's the best of all time. |
| 3 | | Kansas Leftoverture
Maybe their best all around album, this one features their most popular hit. However, most of the album is even better. |
| 2 | | Frank Zappa Zoot Allures
Zappa did a lot of relatively accessible jazz fusion in the '70's, and this is another one. Some of his biggest hits came from this album (Black Napkins, Disco Boy) |
| 1 | | Tom Waits Small Change
This is Waits' best. Bluesy piano, his signature growl, and songs about crippling depression. I don't know what's not to like. Step Right Up is brilliant. |
