Aids 09.02.12	zopilote machine, really? i haven't given that one much time but i probably should cause i didn't think Coroner's Gambit was all that good on my first few listens. bungy - do we still agree about their best album? and has anyone listened to Transcendental Youth yet?

Aids 09.02.12	most people call The Sunset Tree their best album but I like The Coroner's Gambit more. it depends which type of Mountain Goats you like, the polished studio sounds (everything from The Sunset Tree to now pretty much), or the lo-fi stuff he did before then. the more recent stuff is easier to like and catchier (or something), but the lo-fi Mountain Goats sound has a way of getting under your skin and growing on you. definitely check out: Tallahassee (first "studio" album) We Shall All Be Healed All Hail West Texas (most old-school Mountain Goats fan's album of choice) All Eternals Deck etc. etc. etc. all sooooo good
