09.02.12 | Sounds good. You got a nice guitar though, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Is it a standard? The pickups are nice in those, I was surprised, I of course did swap mine out for the Billy Corgan ones though. One thing I disliked about them though. They aren't great with amp distortion. Not bad, just not great. But, on the other hand, they worked excellently with my big muff. It sounded awesome. Very clear, thick and had tons of sustain.
If you haven't gotten a Big Muff yet, DO IT! It is a crazy pedal. Corgan used it on Siamese Dream you know. Plus it does so much more than that. Jack White uses one too. It's really just an awesome and very versatile pedal. Every guitarist should have one. |
