Not to mention, the methods of evolution were rather intriguing. If Magnizone had Levitate, it'd be amazing. Also, Yanmega and Mammoswine are fucking beasts (same goes with Glaceon, but not so much with Leafeon). Not just muk and grimer (I do love both pokemon). But we also have like Diglett - Dugtrio, Doduo - Dugtrio, Coffing - Weezing, Ponyta - Rapidash, etc. Not to say that all the evolutions were lame, but there were plenty in gen 1 anyways.

tkxxx7 08.29.12	Aipom's evolution (can't remember the name) wrecks shit online Weavile is easily one of the best pokemon ever as far as stats/appearance, as well as Scizor but Scizor clearly has superior typing (only 1 weakness wtf) and is the biggest baton pass sponge i have ever seen. if ninjask passes a sword dance or two (and speed boost) to it, consider the match over Whereas Weavile is weak to lots of things (fighting is 4x also) but generally if you're using Weavile and not beating things in one turn you're doing it wrong anyway uh what else was mentioned in this thread Swampert was the best water starter and he still rules with earthquake
