Apocalypse Please

I have always wondered how bands like Bring Me The rHorizon or Attack Attack! manage to sell out rshows, when everywhere I go I can only find rhate rfor them or people are even fortunate enough not rto know them. So I started to seriously question rthe existence of a fanbase and rthoughts of an rinternational conspiracy came to mind. That is, runtil one fateful day.(List is apocalyptic digs; rfeel free to name more, as rthe end is near.)
1Therapy?
Living In The Shadow Of A Terrible Thing

While visiting Vienna on my high school trip earlier this year, I saw something
I can
only hope to forget. I was chatting with my mates minding my business, when I
saw
a most peculiar individual. (NOTE: It was daylight and I was sober.) I felt
chills going
down my spine, a clear indication that an otherworldly presence was amidst.
2The New Regime
The Great Decline

He or she (I could not distinguish the gender, so therefore I will address the
subject
as it from now on) was dressed in black, with black pants tightly gripping it's
thighs
and a sleeveless top resting loosely on its shoulders. The hair was also painted
black
and it covered most of the subject's face, so I came to the conclusion it had to
rely
on its other senses to make sense of its surroundings, as it clearly couldn?t
see
through the thick, greasy, black matter that was its hair. Amidst all the black,
there
were yellow fluorescent markings and a violet belt that brought forward the gay
spectrum and accentuated the subject's irresolute sexual preferences. Its face
also
boasted a considerable amount of metal, all sorts of piercings and keychains
stuck
to
its face, so the creature might as well have been a cyborg of sorts.
3Soundgarden
Blow Up The Outside World

I was so petrified, that I did not notice another such creature come from behind
my
back and greet its comrade. In just a mere few seconds more spawned till they
were
fifteen or so in numbers. They exchanged hugs and kisses and nested on the green
zones right not too far from the Natural History Museum, thus providing a nice
contrast to the beautiful and majestic surroundings.
4Serj Tankian
Sky Is Over

At that point it was not yet clear to me what these creatures want or why they
were
there, but I knew that if they spawn at such a pace, we could only fend off as
many
before they outnumber us. The Mayans themselves warned of such a catastrophe,
but I was shocked as to how quickly it proceeded.
5Soundgarden
4th Of July

And then I saw it and relief overflew my body. An inscription on one of the
creature's
T-shirt. It read Asking Alexandria. These weren't aliens, nor were they zombies,
they
didn't here to introduce a plague that will put an end to our very existence.
They
were
simply fans of bad music.
6Muse
Apocalypse Please

And although it's truly sad to see the damaging effects that bad music can have
on
a
person, I was more than happy to know that there's more than a few months to
prepare for the day that humanity will be challenged once more and the fate of
our
world will be decided
