| Bands That I've Gotten Into Lately, Recs Are Appreciated As Always.
bands that i've gotten into in the last month or so. I enjoy most types of
music. Hate country and rap, go figure. recs are welcome. | | 1 | The Antlers
I really enjoy their album Hospice, it's very sad and yet it's still great. I don't
usually enjoy listening to slower music like this, but the lyrics really make that
album great to listen to, especially on a rainy day. | | 2 | Letlive.
I never really gave this band a chance, until i saw them at Orionfest in New
Jersey. They put on one of the best shows i've ever seen before(besides Metallica,
of course). And i've listened to Fake History for about 3 weeks straight. Can't get

Despite their ridiculous name, band is awesome. Tree of Tongues starts off to be a
promising album with the opening track, and never disappoints. | | 4 | La Dispute
La Dispute is considered a chick band by most(by my friends, at least). But, their
music and lyrics are beautiful. I'm a sucker for the song "Last Blues for Bloody
Knuckles", I lost a gf recently, and i can pretty much relate to that song. I find all
their songs well done, musically and lyrically. I'm trying to get into more Post-

Another band that i didn't listen to until i saw them live at Orionfest. Band is extremely talented, and put on one hell of a show. | | 6 | Baroness
The very first band i saw at Orionfest. I was supposed to see them live with
Deftones a year back, but apparently the singer pissed off Chino and Chino told
him to go fuck himself(from what I heard). But when i saw them live in NJ, i
noticed he was wearing a Jane Doe shirt, haha, and so was I. I didn't know how
many Converge fans we're actually out there, until i was complimented by my
shirt every 30 minutes for 12 hours. Nonetheless, Baroness new album is
awesome, didn't like it the first few listens but I enjoy listening to it now. | |
