Scoot
08.16.12 | my prediction: this list will get to 200+ idiotic comments, 1% of which will be about the song in question and 99% of which will be
pointless bickering |

08.16.12 | i think it would be decent if you used a metronome or edited the tracks to keep everything in time. it's not like it's way off but using a metronome would make it sound better. |
Spec
08.16.12 | No metronome. |

08.16.12 | what program you using? is it recorded audio or MIDI? if it's MIDI, then as aubergine said, if you're working to a grid, quantize so it's all arriving on beat, and then you can move stuff around a bit to suit and give it a more human feel. it was mostly on but a few chords were out and it's kinda jarring. the kick was a bit boomy imo but was a good idea.
it's not too bad all things considered. i see what you're doing. instrumental stuff is hard cos you gotta work hard to create/keep interest. chucking heaps of shit in isn't always the answer but i'd add some subtle stuff, building up and layering as you go until the transition. |

08.16.12 | just record the chord sequence and loop it if you're having trouble keeping on time. |

08.16.12 | just gonna be honest, meh. it wasn't bad though. |

08.16.12 | not that you can't do cool things with Audacity, but have you tried/thought about using Pro Tools? if you're keen on working with audio.
if you like the idea of MIDI, you could check out something like Reason. you could probably find it on the net. just need a Midi to USB cable for your keyboard and you could use all the soft synths and effects and stuff. it's pretty sweet. MIDI is way easier to re-arrange too. |

08.16.12 | yeh man, I'd highly recommend getting a hold of Reason. Heard alright things about Ableton. Logic is cool if you have a Mac.
Or Pro Tools if you have your heart set on recording audio. So much more control and possibilities with your stuff. Just depends what suits you best. |

08.16.12 | In my opinion there was an awkward transition to the drum's part. Most of the song was quite boring, although the climax wiht the violins was alright and so was the piano outro |
