united has a solid midfield, i think kagawa will play at the middle with carrick instead of playing behind rooney, now that RVP is there.

08.16.12 | I'm kinda undecided on RVP. Like, last year he stayed fit and ruled so hard. Arsenal stuck by him through all the injuries and after a full and awesome season, he jumps ship. On the other hand, he left with a year to run on the contract so they get a transfer fee. Didn't just ditch them on a free. But then again, he went to a title rival. Easier to accept if he'd gone to Real or Juventus or whatever. I don't see this Man U side as being considerably stronger than Arsenal with all their new buys. If RVP wanted a combo of massive wages and the best shot at trophies in England, I reckon City was the go. I probably won't mind too much unless he slings shit at Arsenal like Nasri did.
Will be an interesting league. United should've invested more in midfield. Will be interesting to see how Liverpool go under Rodgers with their new style. Interesting to see how Chelsea go with all the new signings and whether Torres will fire again. He was my favourite player to watch in the EPL when was on with Liverpool. I'll miss Drogba too. |

08.16.12 | I understand them wanting to buy such a quality player but United were already pretty good up front imo. Rooney will probably play a little deeper and RVP will be up front. The midfield is a bit patchy and how long/often can Giggs/Scholes play? So obviously Berbatov has gotta go now? Wonder why they used him so sparingly. He was pretty solid I reckon |

08.16.12 | I reckon now was the time. by January he'd be cup tied in the CL (if that rule still exists?) and have less time to run on his contract so probably would get a smaller fee. if his heart isn't in it, better to have the new guys up front full time.
OT kinda but Spain will be interesting again. as interesting as a two horse race can be. hope Barca win it back this year. |
