08.06.12 | I'm kinda in the same situation. I would say the most important piece for the whole writing process is "recording to pc" gear. I bought myself the simplest piece there is, a Behringer adapter to plug the guitar and them downloaded a few softwares. That helped a lot, now I'm able to write full songs and keep everything organized.
Other than that, I would go for the bass. |

08.06.12 | Hmm yeah, it may be the bass, that might be the most fun too haha |

it's amazing for the price. think list price might be like 230-250?

Trebor.
08.07.12 | guitar model is less important than pickups and pickups are less important than amp model and a medium quality mic should set you straight
|
Trebor.
08.07.12 | also just get a squire starter bass and you don't even really need a bass amp if it's just for writing and demoing
|
ChuckyTruant
08.07.12 | True. But I want something decent and that will hold its value at least a little bit. I think I'll get a SR375m |
