| Dream Line-ups
It's been done a million times, I realize, but fuck it, here it is again: a list of
concert line-ups that I would see at any and all costs. | 1 | At The Drive-In
w/ Refused, Hot Water Music, Boysetsfire | 2 | Kanye West
w/ Common, Nas, Black Star | 3 | Thrice
w/ Brand New, MewithoutYou, Manchester Orchestra (or The Dear Hunter) | 4 | Bad Religion
w/ Rise Against, Hot Water Music, Descendents | 5 | Foo Fighters
w/ Tenacious D, The Gaslight Anthem | 6 | Wu-Tang Clan
w/ MF Doom, Mobb Deep | 7 | The Apples In Stereo
w/ Of Montreal, Jeff Mangum | 8 | The Black Keys
w/ Mutemath, Jack White, Japandroids | |

08.01.12 | Bold = Headliner; last in description = opening band
I know #3 has actually happened before (minus Man. O.), and Bad Religion and Rise Against have played a one-off show with Descendents in L.A. while they were on tour together, but for all of these, I'd pay good money and expect the best show.
Best line-up I've ever seen in real life that wasn't a festival was Rise Against w/ Thrice, Alkaline Trio and The Gaslight Anthem. Bought a ticket, but couldn't go. | Masochist
08.01.12 | Also note that the list is of artists that are still actively touring. | YoYoMancuso
08.01.12 | Pearl Jam with Soundgarden and Smashing Pumpkins | ReturnOfTheDnor
08.01.12 | Emmure
Whitechapel, Suicide Silence, Chelsea Grin | truekebabpower
08.01.12 | the Blackdiamondskye(alice in chains, deftones, mastodon) tour was probably as close as I'll ever get to my dream line-up...and I missed it
but there is no such thing as a dream line-up, seeing more than two equally great bands in one night is too much awesome to digest and fully enjoy in one go | Masochist

Semi-true. Depends on where they fall in the line-up, IMO, and how good their shows are. When Bad Religion and Rise Against played together, it took me months to comprehend what I had just witnessed, but it also made me wish that Bad Religion were the headliners. | Samshine
08.01.12 | I am 100% with you for 1,2,3
Streetlight Manifesto, Arrogant sons of bitches, RX Bandits would be pretty fucking sweet. | SwayzeFaced
08.01.12 | Gorillaz
Bibio, Nurses
Radiohead
Foals, Dirty Projectors
Minus The Bear
Tune-Yards, Yeasayer
Man Man
Mister Heavenly, The Antlers
Portugal. The Man
Kay Kay and His Weathered Underground, Local Natives, White Denim
The Mars Volta
The Entrance Band, Sleepy Sun

The Roots, Black Star
so so so many others

08.01.12 | Sam - That sounds like a good ass show. I don't listen to ASOB, but RX Bandits and Streetlight would make it worth it.
Swayze - I thought about a Minus The Bear concert, but I couldn't think of anyone who would go good with them. I'd certainly pay good money for that De La Soul lineup, though.
Weeping - That would be a good one. I've always wanted to see MF Doom in concert, and I want to see Wu-Tang with EVERYONE there (when I actually saw them, Method Man, RZA and Raekwon weren't there--big bummer).
By the way, I obviously want to see all of these line-ups happen very much, but it's a RANKED list...so #1 is the one I want to see absolute most. | TheFonz123
08.01.12 | I would like to see ash borer, fell voices, and bone awl | Shuyin
08.01.12 | my current dream line-up would be something like:
mors principium est
darkest hour
maybeshewill
cult of luna (these guys are awsome live)
mouth of the architect (best for last) | zombi666
08.01.12 | Bad brains, Glassjaw, Deftones.
Hella, Tera Melos, Giraffes! Giraffes?
Rolo Tomassi, The Mars Volta, The Dillinger escape plan.
Black Sabbath, Psyopus, Genghis tron.
Converge, Narrows, The Locust.
Or all of these at one festival. | Masochist
08.01.12 | "Bad brains, Glassjaw, Deftones."
Would pay good money to see that line-up. | Inveigh
08.01.12 | Neurosis, Boris and Cult of Luna would be insane | Samshine
08.02.12 | Dude, if you love streetlight check out asob, seriously. I've been jamming out so hard to them the past week and a half.. | Satellite
08.02.12 | seeing the 8 with the shins in canada this weekend yay |
