Your list is alright though, I'm cool with Hammett/Gates/King/etc. With guitarists it kind of depends if you're looking more for creativity/'catchiness' or skill. Based on the kind of list you have, I would at least put Dimebag Darrell and/or Dave Mustaine somewhere in the mix.
