SgtPepper 07.20.12	I have a Border Collie- honestly love this dog more than anything. They're smart and loving. But they require a lot of work. If she has the time to walk him or has a big enough backyard for the dog to roam. Get this breed. If she doesn't have the time to walk a dog all that much or has no backyard, you might want to get a small dog that doesnt need much exercise.

taylormemer 07.20.12	Xeno, if you met my chihuahua you'd love her. She carries none of the common chihuahua traits at all. I used to be on the same perception as you but she was a rescue and we ended up with her which I won't complain about. Everything what Xeno said is completely correct. Completely and utterly.
SgtPepper 07.20.12	I've had similar experiences with chihuahuas, theyre very intense dogs. My neighbor has one that is the size of a squirrel but it has a serious napoleon complex, it always tries to be the alpha male by picking fights. He tries to attack my Border Collie every time, but he can just push him away with his paw.
