This list idea basically came from me listening to a Counterparts song on a bus, which was followed by a Saints Never Surrender song, which I mistakenly thought was a Counterparts song. I guess this just goes on to show how there are some bands that go hand in hand; if you like one of them, you like the other. Anyways, this list will consist of a few bands that should be paired.
1Counterparts
Prophets

The first pair of the series. This is quite an obvious one, since Counterparts take influence from Saints Never Surrender.
2Saints Never Surrender
Brutus

Listen to: Counterparts - The Sanctuary and Saints Never Surrender - Companion
3As I Lay Dying
The Powerless Rise

This one is quite unfair, since both the bands play your usual brand of metalcore, but I feel that they are really similar in terms of vocals. However, As I Lay Dying tends to have more solos, while Haste the Day focuses more on the breakdowns.
4Haste the Day
Attack of the Wolf King

Listen to: As I Lay Dying - Vacancy and Haste the Day - Travesty
5Saosin
Saosin

This pair may arise from the fact that I discovered both bands at the same time, and just felt that the only separating factor is the Christian faith. They both have the high vocals above of the catchy melodic guitar lines.
6Secret and Whisper
Great White Whale

Listen to: Saosin - It's Far Better to Learn and Secret & Whisper - XOXO
7Closure in Moscow
First Temple

A wild appearance of an Australian band; soaring vocal melodies alongside jazzy alternative music.
8Children of Nova
The Complexity of Light

Listen to: Closure in Moscow - Kissing Cousins and Children of Nova - Arcaedion
9Erra
Impulse

This band has received a lot of attention and for good reason too. They have taken the whole spacey-deathcore vibe and incorporated it into metalcore. Forever Orion may have weaker cleans and less replay value, but the song Answers really shows the similarities.
10Forever Orion
Passion. Love. Harmony.

Listen to: Erra - White Noise and Forever Orion - Answers
11It Prevails
Capture & Embrace

As soon as I heard this band, I knew right away why I liked them; I like Hundredth too. The vocals, song structures and melodies are very similar.
12Hundredth
Let Go

Listen to: It Prevails - Trials and Tribulations and Hundredth - Weathered Town
13Lydia
Illuminate

The final pair of the series. Both bands play soft indie music, with high vocals, as well as female vocal appearances.
14Deas Vail
Deas Vail

Listen to: Lydia - This is Twice Now and Deas Vail - Desire
