I dig Opeth, but seriously, there is good portion of their fanbase I'd like to punch in the face. The same goes certain groups of Tool and Radiohead fans.
I'll agree with Floyd in general terms, but as an individual album, Dark Side is overrated to cunting fuck.
Prog Genesis is overrated. Sure, it's better than the Collins-led era, but there is a fuckton of better 70s prog out there.
Wintersun... By god, they're fucking overrated.
Don't know Crossfade, but from the company you've put them in, I really don't want to.
...And Eakflanderyof is right, people with more discriminating taste know better, but Nickleback and Creed sold a buttload of albums to a lot of goons who rate them highly. |

I like Still Life from Opeth, but they do have a massive amount of squealing fanboys who absolutely die for the slightest, often unnoticeable musical subtlety which annoys me at times. Porcupine Tree is good. Rush is decent from what I've heard (not much). Pink Floyd is alright. |
