| Best By The Red Hot Chili Peppers
This is my take on RHCP. Get over the fact that BSSM isnt my favorite. | | 1 | | Red Hot Chili Peppers Californication
Wow, so many classic songs on this album. Around the World, track one, to Easily, track 7, brings me back to the blissful state of 1997 and 1998's radio listening days. Amazing. However, the three songs Porcelain, I Like Dirt, and Right On Time keep this album from transcending BSSM.
Oh, and Road Trippin' is the best closer for the Pepper's, and even most albums of our modern day. | | 2 | | Red Hot Chili Peppers BloodSugarSexMagik
Considered to be the Magnum Opus of the Chili Pepper's, this album is easily a classic. There are 11-12 absolutely amazing funk rock songs that rock like a mother. Johhny took my heart. However, like most RHCP albums, there are 17 tracks when there should be 12 or 13. After Apache Rose Peacock, expect to press stop. | | 3 | | Red Hot Chili Peppers Stadium Arcadium
This is by far the best double album of the decade. Hands Down. They incorporated everything from Blood Sugar Sex Magik to By the Way style. Greatness. However, i for one find Mars much better because of the less filler...and because of Readymade. | | 4 | | Red Hot Chili Peppers By the Way
Can't Stop, Universally Speaking, and the Title Track absolutely reek of awesome. Zephyr Song is way overrated, and the rest of the album strays too much to contemporary mainstream rock. I'd never thought i'd say this, but there's not enough funk. | | 5 | | Red Hot Chili Peppers Mothers Milk
John Frusciante is their best guitarist. This is is first work and mimicked alot of Slovak's technique. The songs are more mature, and more refined, but there are still too many fillers. | | 6 | | Red Hot Chili Peppers The Uplift Mofo Party Plan
Easily the best Slovak album, he proves to me why he is the Pepper's original guitarist. However, still, his style, and the excess and immature funk isnt a little hard on the ears if you hear it too often. | | 7 | | Red Hot Chili Peppers One Hot Minute
Dave Navarro was really good in Jane's Addiction, and he's an all around great guitarist. But other than My Friends, it leaves a lot of things wanted, including a little more effort in its songs. | | 8 | | Red Hot Chili Peppers Freaky Styley
A small step up from their S/T album, but still too funk for me. Hillel Slovak is a great guitarists, but his style isnt my thing. | | 9 | | Red Hot Chili Peppers The Red Hot Chili Peppers
There's a good reason this album is so hard to come by in stores. Not to mention it had really bad production. | |

10.03.07 | I still prefer BSSM, californication has too mch filler imo, and other than the last track, there really isnt any in BSSM imo, accept maybe the greeting song...
The first 6 songs on Californication are soooo brilliant though, not a badmoment there, love listening to that duringthe summer.
OHM is underrated, i'd sayit's their 4th best, Switch 1 and 2, switch 4 and 7, then switch 5 and 6 and you have mylist. | NeroCorleone80
