Viking Metal!

It recently ocurred to me that I really don't have too many viking metal albums. These are my five favorites that I own, please recommed more!

I just got this today, and I can already say that this album is incredible. Maybe my favorite Enslaved
album I have. Unlike their more recent stuff, this album is mure, heavy, straight forward black/viking
metal with a bit of a thrash touch. The title track and "An Eye For Mimir" or some fantastic cuts. Will
review this within the week btw.
Blood Fire Death

Perhaps the pioneer of the genre, despite horrible production, this album paints fantastic scenery and has
some inanse shredding.
3Amon Amarth
With Oden on Our Side

Maybe the ban'ds best album. Not much to complain about here, everything is very solid. The first two
tracks are my personal favorites.
4Amon Amarth
Versus the World

Rivals the previous album for the band's best. It has their best song imo, "Thousand Years of Oppression."
Once again, fantastic death metal.
5Amon Amarth
The Avenger

Back in the band's faster, more technical era, this album is definately the best. It's 35 minutes of intensity,
and never really lets up.
