A Dj Conflicted

Because my town man, my town really will make you want to hurt rsomebody.
1The Crystal Method
Divided By Night

The sheer amount of dubstep, both original cuts and remixes, being played
weekly is INSANE!
2The Chemical Brothers
Dig Your Own Hole

There's a crowd that likes to hear other music, but the producers really
don't want to push much of anything else. Even the end of summer festival
will have, at last count, 12 DJ's who are either strictly dubstep or included
the genre underneath what they'd be playing.
3 VA
The Omega Point

I really get bored playing in the same genre quickly, which is why industrial
has died off in my digs and such lately. Dubstep is the same way but
magnified, so many people in town spin it. I want trance nights, I want
smart drug use, I want a rave.
4The Prodigy
Invaders Must Die

The influx of new, in town talent is really high while the DJ's brought in from
the surrounding area's are normally just as bad.
5Fall Out Boy
Believers Never Die: Greatest Hits

Our scene here, it's a god-damn arms race.
A great writeup on how I often feel: http://robcifre.com/2012/05/11/the-
