PC Gamer -- High-quality gaming is the only kind of gaming. You choose online play over split-screen bullshit. You like to have options and possibly multitask in your games. You could just like games with a load of content. You could also use emulators but then you might as well be everything below too, only cheaper.

Console Gamer -- Just you and the TV and the chunk of plastic that binds you. You might give your games a little more attention or might appreciate the movie-like qualities in some games. Hook up your surround sound, use a giant television and you have yourself the home-theater of gaming. You also might like to feel more engaged and/or feel like you really are the character in a game's story. Or you could even be a gadget junkie.

Handheld Gamer -- That tiny screen and those tiny speakers only have so much presence, so a gamer of this variety probably likes to do other things at the same time like watching TV or talking to people. Your age can range anywhere from 5-year old to 70-year old cat lady. More likely than not, you play Pokemon or Tetris.
