Power chords, 2-3 minute songs, same ol same ol. Not on par with metal in all its glory. Didnt one of the guys from Iron Maiden say punk is mainly just metal played badly lol.
Metal has been combined with practically every form of music. Its the heaviest, fastest, and most adrenaline educing genre of music there is. There really is nothing else like it. I listen to alot of different shit but metal is still my baby.
