Life-changing Albums

I'll leave you with my top ten of mind-blowing albums that absolutely changed the way I see rrthese bands. ( In no particular order, except for no.1 and 2).
10Cave In
Jupiter

A no-brainer. Best alternative rock record of the decade.
9Queens of The Stone Age
Songs for The Deaf

Since not all in life is metal OR Hardcore, here's my favorite rock album of all
times. I see QOTSA as a superband and Josh Homme as the ultimate ginger
man on earth.
8Look What I Did
Atlas Drugged

What began sounding like a piece of shit eventually grew on me, and now I
just can't get enough. My piece of advice: rather than avoiding your
madness, embrace it. These guys did just that and made themselves a
fucking brilliant album.
7HORSE The Band
Desperate Living

Laugh all you want, this one is awesome. I saw them as a joke before this,
now have huge respect for these guys, this is 8-bit pure joy from beggining
to end.
6The Dillinger Escape Plan
Miss Machine

It's fucking crazy, and you need to listen to it. Greg Pucciato is a mad beast.
5Dance Gavin Dance
Downtown Battle Mountain

An almost flawlessy Post-Hardcore record. Jonny Craig sounds like an angel
on this.
4The Fall of Troy
Doppelganger

Thomas Erak is a guitar god, and he can sing and scream on top of it.
There's absolutely no filler in this album whatsoever ( yeah, I know half of
the record was actually already recorded for their previous album, but I
don't care).
3Glassjaw
Worship and Tribute

Daryl Palumbo = best vocalist ever.
2Poison The Well
Versions

Yes, yes, you'll argue that their previous efforts were better in that they
were much heavier, but this is just a trip to fucking heaven. I've never seen
so much diverse instrumentation, and the vocals are orgasmic at the least.
Only thing keeping it from being a classic is the relative lack of bass.
1Converge
Jane Doe

Wow. This album is perfection in all fronts. Brilliant riffs, tight rhythm section
and the vocals... I'm convicted Jacob Bannon is Hell's own Messiah. Many
people don't even pay attention to the lyrics, but I dare say it's the most
brilliant part of the album. Best album of the decade.
