Review Summary: Got four minutes?

The answer usually depends on what you’re doing, if you’re pissed off and in the need of a short venting session, turn to Kaotoxin Record’s Miserable Failure. With an overall length of three minutes and fifty-seven seconds these four tracks present Hope as a package of punk infused, angry grind. Consisting of four members, Miserable Failure is quite diverse in its overall brevity. Not only is every instrument covered within a four piece setting but the added dual vocal effort of Rom “Maldito” Sanchez who handles the lower growls and Bleu who handles the screechy manifestation of the band’s grind-y vocals. There’s not a lot of room for contrast on a release like this and unfortunately, the dual vocal effort is both the start and finish of that particular list.

Instrumentally, the album achieves what it set out to do; be a shock to the system. Short doses of furious, mentally unstable punk infused grind hits like a sledge hammer to a knee cap. It’s not to be taken lightly. In fact, you’ll find yourself listening to this again and again to ensure you didn’t miss something. It’s over faster than you think. Hope is an outweighing of directed anger culminating in a frenzy of flying limbs and airborne sweat. Hope is as engaging as a set of fireworks; they’re loud, flashy and stop as soon as it starts. At least with Miserable Failure’s Hope all you have to do is start it again.

Two reviews, one day - might seem a little greedy bu this will probably do me for the next 7-10 days. I'm only stealing 4 minutes of your time matching a short review for an even shorter EP.

Go check this out, link's at the bottom of the review

Yeah check it, it's gritty quick grind. It will probably take you longer to read the review than listen to the EP
