Hey if you consider how bad the last record was and this time around both US and UK fans were able to sift through a shit-storm of 20 boring riffs, sterile synth lines and snare onslaughts to create a record that still sucks--albeit slightly less than history would suggest. Bright side though? At least the Kaiser's are finally coming to terms with that truth that maybe they should take a step back from any and all producer(s) ambitions.

The first two Kasier albums were the best, in my opinion. Then came Off With Their Heads, which was OK, but didnt reach the standard of the first two. Now we have The Future Is Medival, with 13 new songs to listen to, and another 8 available to download from their site. The fourth album is better than the third, but still doesnt beat Employment and Angry Mob. The songs that stand out the most on the album are Out Of Focus, Child of Jago, and Little Shocks. A good come back for the Kasier Cheifs.

After Off With Their Heads, I thought the Chiefs couldn't sink any lower, but they've proven me wrong. 20 songs you can choose from, but none is even slightly entertaining or mildly creative in any way. One simple advice: AVOID!
