Griselda's Shady debut sticks to their signature sound without a single compromise. The MVP def
has to be Daringer and the Beat Butcha. Production is amazing and is done with 0 SAMPLES! Benny
and Conway come in swinging and Westside held his own. Is it just me or are Westside's adlibs
taking away from the music? I do not think it is necessary to have them for EVERY single bar. It
hindered the overall experience. Eminem ending the album is not a choice I prefer but all the
other features did their thing. A standout verse from 50 on here. Well produced album, bar after
bar material with little fluff makes this a must-listen for any hip-hop fan.

Great alchemy for Griselda's first actual collab record between Westside Gunn, Conway, and Benny - the beats are as grimy as expected, and each rapper nicely complements the other. Not everything is a slam dunk here - that fucking Eminem verse lol - but it further established Griselda's importance within the rap game.

When it's all said and done, this might be the best thing to come out of the Griselda collective. There's some missteps that could've been easily avoided (we didn't need the exact same Raekwon interlude twice) but overall every minute of actual music on here is top notch, even the Eminem guest verse, which is still pretty solid for how annoying new-school Em is. The problem with these guys is that they never drop perfect albums. There's always a few total duds and a few bangers. I think this this album comes the closest to actually producing a coherent piece of art. The beats are insane, and everybody goes in. There's a lot of reasons to return to this one.

Awesome East Coast Hip Hop vibes and great beats but the rapping and lyrics themselves aren't always the most interesting. The first 6 tracks demand attention but things start to get samey and less vital in the second half of the album. The 50 Cent guest spot is OK and stays within the context of the record but the Eminem spot in the last track feels forced and entirely unnecessary. Also it kind of lacks that signature track or two that will demand you to come back and listen more.
