Gorgeous, mesmerizing, ravishing, enchanting & stunning... And that's just Amy MacDonald's voice! At only 19 years of age, the talented Scottish singer-songwriter & guitarist has delivered a debut LP loaded with fantastic acoustic melodies. The musical backing (which also includes keys, strings & even trumpets) is predominantly upbeat, yet MacDonald's strong self-assured vocals seem effortless in keeping pace & delivering perceptive, mature lyrics. The infectious title-track & multi-faceted 'Let's Start A Band' are the highlights, yet there is absolutely no filler & practically every track has the potential to be released as a single.
