Considering he wrote, recorded, produced & played almost every instrument on his self-titled debut album, 21 year old Sydney-sider Jonathan Boulet has quite the future. Filled with feel-good vocal harmonies & toe-tapping rhythms (he is the drummer for Parades), this LP is perfect for a mild summer evening. Boulet falters a little in the mid-section where he tries to be a touch too experimental, but ultimately this is a strong debut whose highlights are catchy indie-pop gems with an earthy difference.
