3.5 great | MistaCrave | October 5th 15 | Finnr's Cane aren't an exact Agalloch clone, although it is pretty obvious that Agalloch is their rmain influence. Surprisingly effective melodies are scattered throughout the album, accented rbeautifully by acoustic interludes. Song structures are probably the highlight of this album. rExceptionally original structure allows for the guitar work to shine, while also allowing for rfluid coherency between sections of a single song and all of the songs as a whole. The only things rthat I really didn't like about this album were: 1: The drum sound can get annoying in certain rparts 2: The vocals aren't that great 3: Overall production could've been much better 4: "Time Is ra Face in the Sky" isn't a very good song. rMusically speaking though, this album is pretty damn awesome. I would highly recommend it to fans rof Agalloch.
