You know what you expect a mixture of Boris and Merzbow to sound like? This album doesn't always sound like that, but when it does oh boy it's a maelstrom of punishing drone riffs ("To the Beach" or the beginning of "Evol").

Oozes ?tween colorful jam band excursions and dilapidated noise rock a là The Dead C, Akita?s contributions are the real chore here, they are too textural instead of being at the forefront, merging fully with the track?s stereophony. A decent effort regardless.
