Young Sparrows are a pop-punk band from Kelowna, British Columbia, that has been in existence since late 2009. Formed from 5 members who met while
studying audio engineering, they began writing songs together with the focus of just having fun and playing music. Through a few member adjustments and
life getting in the way, they released a 10 song debut album (We're All On The Same Team Here) in May 2012. Having their sights set on touring, the summer
of 2012 saw a key member leave, causing the remaining members to reconsider the band's future. After recruiting a new drummer, the four members began
writing what would become their 2013 EP release (Retour À La Case Départ), recounting the past year of self-doubt, anger, loneliness, abandonment, and the
strength of relationships.
