X-Cops

X-Cops (1995-1996) is a side project composed of musicians from the band Gwar. Each band member played in police uniforms and had their own individual characters. The band is composed of Michael Derks as Lt. Louie Scrapinetti on guitar, Mike Dunn as Cadet Billy Club on drums, Dave Brockie as Patrolman Cobb Knobbler on bass, Pete Lee as Sgt. Al Depantsia on guitar, and Casey Orr as Sheriff Tubb Tucker on vocals. Peter Lee had the idea of starting the band after being shot in a failed carjacking attempt. The band is composed of Michael Derks as Lt. Louie Scrapinetti on guitar, Mike Dunn as Cadet Billy Club on drums, Dave Brockie as Patrolman Cobb Knobbler on bass, Pete Lee as Sgt. X-Cops began to open for Gwar on their 1994 tour. They did a headlining tour in 1995 and some shows in 1996 and released their first album in 1995 entitled "You Have the Right To Remain Silent..." with Metal Blade Records. X-Cops played their final show in 1996 and Orr, Dunn, Lee, and Musel have since left both X-Cops and Gwar. The band utlimately dissipated but reunited and played at the 4th annual GWAR-B-Q in Richmond, VA, on August 17, 2013. « hide
