Wartime Sweethearts is the melodic pop brainchild of Sydney-based singer, loop artist and songwriter Louise Nutting. Her influences stem from the
vocally driven and layered music of Björk, The Dirty Projectors, Jeff Buckley and St Vincent.
On November 14th, 2015 Louise released 2nd album So Long Sparta; a collection of songs written largely over the last year and recorded in her mother’s
attic, with keyboards and piano, glitchy beats, modern harmonies and lead vocals that deliver catchy melodies, occasionally wading into darker and more
experimental waters than debut 2010 release Pancake Orion.
