At the beginning of 2014 Peter Parkkila and Billy Keinström started the band Cyanide System (a high school project) known primarily as a loud and fast punk/grunge cover band. During the first year, after more experience the interest started to go towards making their own songs and after a full repertoire of 4 punk songs they decided to record an EP under the new name Venegence. The reactions of the EP were ok.

Anyway, as many bands tend to do in early stages, the band evolved their sound. From the punkish sound towards more of an alternative view toward stoner rock influenced riffs with the help of two new like minded band members:
Alexander Forsström, with the only description “being too loud”. Perfect fit. Markus Parkkila, brother of Peter, who was a guitarist at the time, but easily got convinced to convert into a bassist. And he also likes beer. Perfect fit, again.
With the new era of the band they released an EP in 2017 called Preincarnation which they recorded in a home studio in a garage during the coldest weeks of december. This EP was received a tiny bit better!
After some years of playing live the bois decided to focus on songwriting and began to plan a recording of an album due to the lack of gig opportunities caused by the pandemic in the beginning of 2020. Their debut album A.S.T.A was finished and set to be released in November 2021. « hide
