Trio Of Doom was a short-lived jazz fusion trio that featured Jaco Pastorius on bass, John McLaughlin on guitar and Tony Williams on drums. They played one live show on March 3, 1979, at the Havana Jam in Cuba. On March 8, 1979, the group met together in New York City to record their live songs in the studio, but a argument between Pastorius and Williams ended the group. An album was released in 2007 that contained 5 live songs from the Havana Jam show and 5 tracks recorded in the studio.
