The Helio Sequence is an American alternative rock duo from Beaverton, Oregon, signed to Sub Pop. The band was formed in
1999 and consists of Brandon Summers on vocals and guitars and Benjamin Weikel on drums and keyboards. The band has
released two albums on Sub Pop, two on the Portland-based label Cavity Search and a self-released EP. Their fourth album,
entitled Keep Your Eyes Ahead, was released on January 29, 2008, on Sub Pop.

On June 11, 2012, Sub Pop officially announced that The Helio Sequence's fifth full-length album, entitled Negotiations, will be
released on September 11, 2012. According to the band's Facebook page, the new record will have a sound that is "warmer,
more organic and more spacey/ethereal." The Helio Sequence (Official) Facebook page also states that tour dates will be
