The Blood Brothers were a Seattle-based post-hardcore outfit formed in the Eastside suburbs of the city in 1997. The quintetreleased fivealbums during their 10 year existence that covered multiple styles of music, characterized by dueling vocals withrapid stylistic shifts, energeticrhythmic work, and nonstandard guitar chords. Earlier work had roots in math core and punk whilelater work became more abstract, oftendescribed as post-hardcore. They’ve worked with a myriad of producers, such as RossRobinson, Guy Picciotto, and John Goodmanson. The bandofficially broke up in November 2007 over the band’s website. Eachmember of the band has since moved on to new musical projects.
